Ninja Fights To Score

Nov 05, 2014

Argubaly in career best form, our seven-year-old Yamanin Vital gelding Black Ninja recorded his second win from his last three starts, both at Doomben.

Contesting the Novotel Brisbane Airport Benchmark 75 over 2240m at Doomben, the Chirs Munce ridden gelding had been away from the track for a month, but this didn’t worry him, producing an oustatdning effort to cliam the race by over three lengths, the biggest winning margin in his career to date.

Settling back in the run, he quickly made a mid-race move that saw him travel forward, finding himself in front a long way from home.

Travelling extremely well within himself, Black Ninja just extended with ease, going on to record his fourth career win from 25 start to date.

With three of those wins since he has joined the Toby Edmonds stable just under 12 months ago, Black Ninja is a delight to have a round the stable and we really feel he has some good racing left in him..

Congratulations to owner Ross Melville and we look forward to his next start.
