Ipswich Victory For Life At Sea

Aug 01, 2014

With the Toby Edmonds Team hitting the road on Friday to travel to Ipswich with only one runner, it was great to be heading home not too long after the third race of the day with a winner!

Officially now a three-year-old, Life At Sea is a son of Tycoon Ruler and was having his third career start having previously recorded a third place on his debut in March before finishing down the track and his next start before a spell.

Having had two barrier trials at Doomben in readiness for his first up run, jockey Timothy Bell had the colt in a midfield position where he was comfortable before allowing him to make his run.

Taking the Riverlink Shopping Centre Maiden (1200m) by a length and a half, the J A Russo, J A Russo, Mrs K A Russo, A J Cousins, G I Forsyth & Mrs B Kainz-owned colt is going to derive a lot of benefit from the run and we will now look to head move onwards and upwards with the colt!

Congratulations to all involved.
