Snitzel’s Scarborough Salutes At Doomben

Sep 14, 2014

Having had three weeks away from the track after his last start third, our consistent five-year-old Snitzel gelding Scarborough headed back to Doomben and stepped up the 1650m of the Quest Breakfast Creek Handicap.

Starting well in the market due to his great recent form, the Matthew McGuren-ridden gelding travelled in a handy position with the leaders settling not that far ahead of him.

With very good form at this distance, including two prior wins, Scarborough added a third, defeating Bernitchy by a short half head with a neck back to Forest Way in third.

With six wins and six placed efforts from 25 starts, his happy group of owners include Miss J Edmonds, G C Diamond, Ms V Lee, C Porter, D V Patel, D K Patel, R M Lapointe, C McDonald & D Love.

Scarborough is another example of a horse that has come to the Toby Edmonds Racing stable after starting his career somewhere else, if you have a horses that you feel could be suited by a change in environment, head over to the Contact Us page and touch base.
