The Segenhoe Express continues for Edmonds Racing

Mar 23, 2014

Having a few in the stable for leading thoroughbred stud Segenhoe, lightly raced four-year-old Pins mare Tulla Express recorded her second win from her last three starts for the team.

Fresh from a break of just over three weeks, the mare headed to the Sunshine Coast to contest the Sunco Motors Handicap over 1400m with Travis Wolfgram ridding.

Having been part of the stable for her last five runs, the mare has recorded two wins and two third placed efforts, a great advertisement for Segenhoe Stud's spelling facility as the mare came to the stable in great order.

Jumping straight to the lead, Tulla Expres never gave anything a chance, winning the race by one-and-a-half lengths from Natural Velocity with a further three parts of a length to Lady’s Command.

A full-sister to the Group Three Victoria Handicap and Listed Chester Manifold Stakes winner Stickpin, the pedigree of this mare also contains numerous stakes winners such as Master Dreamer, Rebellious Dreamer and In Defiance.
