Two from past three for Signpost

Apr 22, 2013

Having been in the care of the Toby Edmonds stable for four runs only, Markane gelding Signpost recorded his second win from his past three outings, scoring by a long neck in the Caloundra RSL Handicap over 1200m at the Sunshine Coast on Sunday, April 21.

Finishing fourth at his first run for the stable back in February, the gelding then had a short 6 week let up before winning at the Sunshine Coast, and then finished a length third at Eagle Farm before Sunday’s impressive win.

In fact the four starts that Signpost has had for the stable has netted connections just shy of $20,000, almost a third of his earnings to date, an excellent result when you think that before transferring to the Toby Edmond stable, Signpost had started on 25 occasions.

The stable currently has three yearlings with shares available in them, so if you are keen to race a horse with the Toby Edmonds Stable head over to the Horses Available tab of the website by clicking here.

Congratulations to the winning connections of Signpost; G C Amott-Stewart, C R Chelliah & P Corrie.
